What plans do I need to upload?
Residential estimates can start from DA-stage architectural plans. For commercial and other projects, send the current drawings, schedules, specifications and model files available for the job. NatHERS, BASIX, structural, geotechnical, services, finishes and landscape documents tighten the relevant scope when available.
How accurate are the estimates?
Every measurement is taken directly from your supplied plans — not templates or benchmarks. Rates are sourced from established Australian construction cost references, updated quarterly. We recommend verifying quantities with an appropriately qualified professional before entering into formal contracts.
How long does it take?
Residential estimates and Trade Estimate Packs are typically ready the same day. Commercial and other eligible projects are typically ready within two business days. Major-project timing is confirmed with the quote.
What do I receive?
Full residential and commercial estimates include a Cost Estimate Report, editable costed BOQ workbook, construction programme, subcontractor pricing packs and dashboard. Commercial tiers also include a tender-grade Scope of Works; residential Scope of Works is a $99 add-on. Trade Estimate Packs include the purchased trade report, detailed BOQ and procurement pack. Exact document length varies by project.
What project types are supported?
New builds, alterations and additions, extensions and renovations use the residential ladder according to dwelling type and dwelling count. This includes granny flats, houses, duplexes, triplexes and townhouses up to 15 dwellings. Fitout, commercial, industrial, apartments, multi-residential and mixed-use projects use the published commercial ladder. Commercial projects at $25M or more, 8+ above-ground storeys or more than one building are quoted first.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept PDF, IFC, DWG, SketchUp, LandXML, JPG, PNG, TIFF, DOCX and XLSX. Send model files as supplied alongside the issued drawing set.
Can I get a refund?
If our system fails to produce a report, you receive an automatic full refund. If you believe the output has material errors, you can submit a dispute for review. No refunds for change of mind once processing begins. See our full Refund Policy for details.
Do I need a subscription?
No. EstiFlow is pay-per-job. No subscriptions, no lock-in contracts. Pay only when you need an estimate.
What determines the cost?
Residential pricing runs from $299 to $1,599. Commercial fitout is a fixed $1,099; Small, Mid and Large commercial tiers are $1,490, $1,990 and $2,499. The optional selector recommends a tier from the project details, and you may choose another. All published prices include GST.
Can I adjust the rates in the report?
Yes. You can edit any rate or quantity directly in your browser and see BOQ totals recalculate live. Adjust your builder margin percentage, toggle site supervision on or off, and save your rate preferences to a profile that automatically applies to every future job.
