What a Civil pack shows you.
This is a made-up example, written to show how a Civil Trade Estimate Pack presents its work. The project, the drawings and every figure on this page are invented. No customer's documents were used.
Quantities are traced to the documents you supply. What the documents do not settle is identified, never invented.
The demonstration project
Project: Demonstration Lane, a fictional three lot subdivision.
Commissioned package: Civil: bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage and the access road pavement.
Drawings: Fictional drawing set C-101 to C-301, issued for this demonstration only.
Measured items and their sources
Every line says where its quantity came from and on what basis.

The scope boundary
Included in this package:
- Bulk earthworks for the access road
- Stormwater pipes and pits SW1 to SW4
- Road pavement layers and kerb to the extent shown on C-301
Outside this package:
- Planting and irrigation, which belong to the landscape package
- Drainage connections inside each lot, which belong to the plumbing package
- Street lighting, which belongs to the electrical package
Work by others: The connection of pit SW4 to the council stormwater main is work by others. The pack names the interface and who owns it, and does not price the authority's own work.
