Choose the Civil package you need priced. It can be the complete civil works, the earthworks, the drainage, the pavements and roadworks, or another defined Civil package. We measure the documented work, trace every quantity to the drawing it came from and price it line by line. The estimate is of the design you supply. It is not a civil design.
What one Civil package can include
Site preparation and earthworks
Clearing, stripping, cut and fill, excavation, rock, stockpiles, imported material, compaction, spoil haulage and disposal, and reinstatement. Natural, loose and compacted volumes are kept apart, with any density or bulking assumption stated.
Drainage and water management
Stormwater pipes, pits, culverts, headwalls, detention and OSD, tanks, subsoil drainage, and erosion and sediment controls where included. Lengths, sizes, levels, trench depths, bedding, backfill and testing are traced to the documents.
Pavements and external hardworks
Roads, driveways, hardstands, pavement layers, kerbs, gutters, paths and crossings. Areas, layer thicknesses and materials are kept, with the demolition and reinstatement boundaries.
External services and structures
Sewer and water reticulation, service trenches, pits and ducts, and retaining or ancillary civil structures where your package includes them. Interfaces with plumbing, electrical, structural and landscape work are named.
Delivery obligations
Access, traffic management, temporary works, dewatering, staging, protection, survey and set out, testing and authority interfaces, where the documents require them. Whole project preliminaries are not added by default.
You receive: a cost report for the Civil package with clear work group totals and source references, an editable bill of quantities with the Measurement Schedule, and a rate-free subcontractor pricing workbook.

What to send: civil and site plans, survey and levels, long sections, drainage schedules, typical sections, specifications and geotechnical information. PDF, IFC, DWG, SketchUp and LandXML files are all accepted.
Quantities are traced to the documents you supply. What the documents do not settle is identified, never invented.
Work by others and site conditions the documents do not confirm are named in the pack, with who owns each interface and whether it is included, excluded, separately priced or provisional.
We price the documented design. We do not produce a civil design, a geotechnical classification, a contamination result, a connection capacity or missing levels.
Planting and irrigation, building foundations, specialist piling, internal building services and authority charges are not added just because Civil is chosen. They are not left out when your tender includes them either.
